Ministry
Salvation Army Officers (ordained ministers) commit their lives to service in exchange for housing and a modest living allowance. The executive leadership positions they fill would normally require a highly paid executive. Instead, The Salvation Army provides training and education so its ministers can manage and lead operations at a fraction of the cost.
